sevrin about to interview me for a youth radio project
dozens upon dozens of volunteers from throughout the americas worked on kpcn's studios during that low-power fm radio-station's "barnraising weekend" in woodburn, oregon: an event hosted by the pineros y campesinos unidos del noroeste & the prometheus radio project last summer (august 18th-20th, 2006).
sevrin here came to the barnraising with his dad & went around recording interviews with different participants. i talked with him for a bit & also asked him if i could take his picture while he was at work on this. i forgot to ask him more info about where he was from, so that i might get a copy of the final product upon its completion... too bad.

And it reminds me when I started radio, so young, it was so cool, the energy around, the people who put so much of their lives in it.
Go Sevrin, go!
i love the interview with the mash cast that ira glass played some time ago...
